The Minimal Journey Challenge:

You are only allowed to bring ONE small backpack or a small carry-on.

Embark on a journey to two of Egypt’s breathtaking national parks, where minimalism is our guide. We’ll explore these natural treasures with open hearts, leaving nothing behind and taking only memories. Our adventure embraces simplicity, from eco-friendly living to packing only the essentials—just one small bag.

Traveling light is a challenge we embrace to discover our ability to adapt and thrive with less. By stripping away the excess, we open ourselves to the raw beauty of nature and the strength within. It’s in these moments of simplicity that we realize what we’re truly capable of, as every challenge reveals a new layer of resilience and freedom.

Journey Breakdown

Bye Cairo!

We meet up on Wednesday 30th of April at night, to set out onto our ride to Sinai.

The flow of this journey is divided by the 2 destinations. Nabq is Active, with Mangroves and Mountains and a lot of exploring to do. And Ras Muhammed brings in The Calm energy onto the trip with beach hopping and tranquil meditation on the waters.

Welcome to Nabq!

Day 1: 1st of May
We've just arrived Nabq National park. and we meet Sharky our host and guide for our entire stay. During our stay in Nabq we are active. So after breakfast and settling in we take our time and head on to the mangrove beach, here enjoy the waters, kayaking, chilling under the sun in the amazing May weather.

After a calm morning and afternoon, once the sun breaks we head out to one of Sharky’s favorite mountain spots, we begin to learn about the Nabq mountain range, its plants and delicate eco system. Beneath the valley’s Acacia tree we take our tea, and enjoy the true quiet essence of the valley in sunset

Exploring The Mountain Range

Day2: 2nd of May
Today on our second day it’s all about  exploring Nabq mountain ranges, our focus is on staying "ACTIVE." We'll kick off the day with an invigorating guided hike in a hidden mountain range. Away from all the crowded tourist spots and led by our trusted friend and host Sharky. This leisurely hike promises not only breathtaking scenery at every turn but also engaging conversations.
After our refreshing hike, we'll exit the mountain ranges onto an authentic Bedwin village deep in the mountains, where we will sit, learn and do our give back activity.

On to Ras-Muhammed we go

Day3: 3rd of May
Today, the theme is "BLUE," as we reach Ras Muahmmed National park, you will experience blue waters like none before. For our first day we wind down completely, to match the energy of the place. In our new Camp, you can feel the minimal vibe and how free it is. We spend the day in our very own cove and enjoy swimming and snorkeling in some of the best coral waters in the red sea.

By mid day we head out to get a glimpse at how diverse the water is in Ras Muahmmed. A short walk from our camp we will dive into beautiful sandy waters, have a nice chill time and set our intentions for this part of the trip.

Beach Hoppin for days

Day 4: 4th of May
Today, in the spirit of truly savoring the essence of Ras Muahmmed, we set out early morning to discover its incredible waters . With so many spots to visit, our hosts will be the one to drive us in their pickup truck. We will make as many stops as we want, so every time the water calls out to you, we stop, take a dip and enjoy.

We come back to our camp for lunch and individual time, with many locations nearby to visit, you can do so much free exploration.

At night we venture into night snorkeling, sounds scary, but the corals at night lighting up by your flash light and the moonlight is something else!

Ready

Day 5: 5th of May
We wake up early morning, to the sound of the waters next to our tents. we have breakfast, maybe take one last dip in the water and then onto our bus to head home. Why are we leaving in the morning? Auana’s experience is meant to give you enough time to settle in before you get back to your busy life in Cairo. When we reach Cairo mid-day you would have had enough time to rest and refresh to feel fully ready to jump back in your city routine.
